Every year from end of November until March Playa del Carmen in the Riviera Maya, Mexico becomes home to the Bull Sharks (Carcharhinus leucas).
They are known for their aggressive nature and they can live in both salt water and fresh water and can travel far up rivers. They love warm shallow waters.
They are large and strong, females are normally larger. They are beautiful, fascinating creatures.
I am currently working as underwater photographer and I am lucky to have the pleasure of diving and filming these fantastic animals. They can be a little intimidating, after all they are sharks and they have all my respect.
Here are some of the best shots taken during the last few days.
